I do agree with some things Gary Taubes discusses, but not much. He's always interesting to listen to. That is if you can tolerate his rambling on and on and on.
Like meat? He's your guy. Love carbs? He ain't for you. My interest/concern is not about fat/carbs. I concentrate on two other issues. Thus, I do not have to be concerned with fat/carbs.
I do agree with him that "Eat Less, Exercise More" is a myth. However, for different reasons.
If you listen to Gary Taubes, you would think that he just discovered something new - that processed carbs and sugar are bad for you. Yo, Gary, in the 50s and early 60s, Jack LaLanne asked his viewers to eliminate these items from their diet.
