Less TV = Less Weight and More Energy!

This implies: If you are not watching TV, you will be exercising. TV is not the culprit. Is exercise important? Yes. However, not even exercise assures weight loss. I know many people who exercise and are overweight. In fact, I used to be one of them. Until I understood how to lose weight, nothing worked.

I recommend this concept: Diet drives weight loss and exercise helps maintain it.

Is your treadmill lying to you about the calories you burned?

Who cares? People are obsessed with calorie burn.

Here's my recommendation: Find an exercise that you enjoy and do it. Thirty minutes to an hour per session will do the trick. If you don't weight-train, I recommend checking it out. And when it comes to exercise, don't overdo it. No need to get an injury while you are trying to be healthy.

Here's an exercise tip. When running your errands, find a parking space far from the store. Those extra few minutes of exercise will add up!

    That's a Bunch
    of B.S.

For many people, losing weight and living a healthy lifestyle is difficult. Much of the advice is a misdirection and a bunch of B.S.

This blog has been set up to dispel the misinformation and myths that many of us believe. My favorite: Eat Less, Exercise More. There are so many that it's comical. As I see them, I'll dispel 'em!

If you've seen one on the Net, let me know. I will dispel it!
