A Prescription for Good Health

Food is the most powerful clinical intervention against chronic disease doctors have. We should be able to write recipes on prescription slips, just like prescription medication.  And every doctor should know how. - Dr. John La Puma

Breakfast: Fruit Smoothie 
Ingredients: Frozen Mixed Fruit, One banana, teaspoon chia seeds, teaspoon of organic crunchy peanut butter, handful of spinach

Lunch: Soup
One can vegetable soup - to "up the flavor", add a scoop of Cowboy Caviar salsa (or other salsa you enjoy), and a handful of brown rice.

Dinner: 


Snacks: Enjoy any of these - Raw Almonds, Edamame, Apple or any fruit


Drink: Water, Seltzer Water, Unsweetened Tea
