- Eating well is not deprivational, but delicious. - Mark Bittman
- Learn to love the foods that love you back. - Dr. David Katz
All experts know the above observations to be true. However, recently when introducing the panel discussion Why we get fat, the moderator stated: "Is there any way to stay thin other than living on a diet of yogurt and wicker furniture?"
Unfortunately, this perpetuates the myth that eating foods with health benefits tastes terrible. I can assure you, wicker furniture has never crossed my lips. All diet experts agree: They love food, enjoy eating, and it tastes delicious.
There is absolutely no reason to eat food that doesn't taste great.
