The Center for Consumer Freedom is an "attack dog" organization that is against most, maybe all, efforts to assist with changing food policy. It is all about representing fast food, sugar, soda, and other food-related industries. 

The organization actually has dossiers on people who are trying to change food policy. While I disagree with much of what it stands for, the cartoons at its site are very funny.
 
 
It's very nice that Mrs. Obama has Tiki Barber, an NFL star, on her team. However, here's the reality of the NFL and food. Take a peek. It ain't pretty.

Mrs. Obama's initiative to end childhood obesity is noble. However, it's taking a systems approach...change ingrained institutions. They will be difficult, if not impossible, to change.

It would be much easier to focus on the individual. Try to change individual behavior. 
 
 
1. Don't drink Coke, Pepsi or any other sugar water. And, definitely do not drink those "healthy" fruit juices. They're full of sugar.

2. Stop eating all that fast-food.

3. Eat less meat.

She cannot say the above because these are big businesses with deep pockets (code for lobbyists)  and the federal government (USDA) promotes beef.
